Members of parties from the governor’s base (Republicans) say they have already identified a behind-the-scenes dispute for the position of .
The bet is that, in April 2030, he will leave office with the aim of running for president. The vice-president would thus inherit and be a candidate for a new term while still in office.
According to information circulating behind the scenes, one of the names that would be working to get the vice position is that of the current Government Secretary, (PSD).
He must, however, seek to establish a name for himself.
The current president of the Assembly, (PL), is seen as a strong possibility.
Although he is more closely linked to the party’s national president, he also has a good relationship with the former president’s allies, in addition to having become close to Tarcísio himself.
If the impasse persists, it is not ruled out that the current vice president, Felicio Ramuth (PSD), who has a low profile, will be maintained as a consensus solution.
