The President of the United States, Donald Trump, criticized Judge Richard Leon, who banned the construction of the ballroom that Trump planned for the White House, in a post on social media. The North American president claimed that the ‘droneport’ that would be located in the hall will be the largest and most sophisticated in the world.
Trump argued that Leon is “playing” with US security and that he would be held responsible if anything happened to the country.
“He has already created enough problems by allowing ‘top secret’ information to be released and exposed,” complained the US president.
Trump alleges that Leon is acting on a lawsuit brought by “a woman with no standing.” “With the advent of highly sophisticated and powerful modern weaponry, we can no longer defend Washington, D.C., with just rifles and pistols,” he concluded.
The US president intensified his defense for the construction of the White House ballroom after the attempted shooting during the annual dinner for correspondents who cover the White House on April 25. At the time, Trump stated that the hotel in Washington where the event was held did not provide the necessary security for the authorities.
