“Through various sources of information and intelligence, we assess that North Korean soldiers who recently engaged in combat with Ukrainian forces have suffered approximately 1,100 casualties,” it said in a statement. “We are especially interested in the possibility of additional shipments” of north korean soldiers to support Russia, added the South Korean military command. Pyongyang would be “preparing the rotation or additional sending of soldiers,” he estimated.

Intelligence reports also suggest that the North is “producing and supplying drones autodestructivos” to Russia to support its war against Ukraine, added the Seoul military command.
The organization assured that North Korea seeks to modernize its capabilities in conventional warfare based on its experience in conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
“This could lead to an increase in the military threat towards us,” indicated the military leadership.
The report coincides with a report from National Intelligence Service who last week revealed to South Korean lawmakers that “Russia could offer reciprocal benefits to North Korean military contributions, including “the modernization of conventional weapons” from the North.
