Bahia’s target for next year, goalkeeper Everson will remain at Atlético-MG. This Tuesday (24), the black and white team announced the renewal of the player’s contract until the end of 2027.
Everson’s contract with Atlético ran until the end of 2025. The Squadron investigated the player’s situation and even presented an official proposal, which was denied by the Minas Gerais club.
After experiencing ups and downs in goal in 2024, Bahia is still in the market looking for a goalkeeper to fight for the starting position. Currently the Bahian team has Marcos Felipe, Danilo Fernandes (who had his contract renewed) and young Gabriel.
Adriel, who was a starter in part of the Campeonato Baiano and in some matches in the final stretch of the Brasileirão, was returned to Grêmio after the end of the season.
