The Goiás Military Police responded this Sunday (22) to an incident of domestic violence in Anápolis (GO). The victim suffered stab wounds from his partner, and the scene was witnessed by the couple’s daughter.
The discussion began due to an alleged betrayal, in which the woman was having an extramarital relationship. During the fight, the couple went to the back of the house, where the individual began attacking them with knife attacks.
The 11-year-old daughter witnessed what happened and ran to ask for help. When he returned, he found his mother, bloodied and lying in the street, while his father was inside the house, injuring himself with the same knife.
Upon arrival of medical assistance, it was found that the victim had perforations in the posterior chest, in the cervical region and several wounds in the hand, while the perpetrator had two perforations in the left forearm.
The woman remains hospitalized at the Anápolis State Hospital, and the author, after receiving medical care, was taken to the police station. The individual was charged with attempted feminicide.
