He had a confrontation, on the court, with Frenchman Victor Wembanyama, from Spurs. For the 76ers star, a foul should have been called in his favor, but the referee saw a lack of attack. Revolted, he flew into a rage.

Embiid fought with the referee and was sent off for unsportsmanlike behavior. During the confusion, he was restrained by his teammates.
