A passenger plane crashed near Aktau, as it became known on Wednesday morning (25/12).
Kazakhstan’s emergency ministry said a plane en route from Baku to Grozny, Chechnya.
The aircraft belongs to an airline company of Azerbaijan and according to the first information, 67 passengers and 5 crew members were on board.
Video circulating on social media appears to show the plane circling just before it crashed.
