There are at least 25 survivors
An Azerbaijan Airlines commercial plane, flying from Azerbaijan to Russia, crashed on Wednesday with 67 and five crew members on board, according to Reuters.
According to local authorities, there are at least 25 survivors.
Azerbaijan Airlines reported that the Embraer 190 plane, with flight number J2-8243, was flying from Baku to Grozny, the capital of Russian Chechnya, when it was forced to make an emergency landing about three kilometers from the city of Aktau, in Kazakhstan.
According to Russian news agencies, the plane had to be redirected because of fog in Grozny.
Kazakh authorities have already started an investigation, with the possibility of a technical problem being on the table.
