In 2024, Alex Poatan retained his light heavyweight belt with 3 successful defenses, earning R$46 million. The information was released by Lance on Tuesday (Dec 24, 2024)

In April, Poatan faced Jamahal Hill and won by knockout in the first round. The Brazilian earned US$2.8 million (R$14 million), being the highest paid fighter of the night, despite not receiving bonuses. “Fight of the Night” or “Performance of the Night”.
