Arosa – The Swiss snowboard crosser Sophie Hediger died in an avalanche accident in Arosa at the age of just 26. The Beijing 2022 Olympic participant was caught in an avalanche on Monday and could only be rescued dead. Hediger died “while freeriding, a beloved hobby,” Swiss-Ski said in a statement on Tuesday.
