Inspired by his mother who is a nurse, altar boy Gabriel Fernando dos Santos Lima, 17, would like to study Medicine. The young man was shot dead in the early hours of this Wednesday (25) while sleeping at home, in Londrina, in the North of Paraná.
Shaken, the altar boy’s grandmother told RICtv that the night before he was excited for Christmas. “He said ‘grandma, I’m going to rest, tomorrow I’ll come to your house early and we’ll spend the whole day together’”, said Irene Martins de Lima.
Furthermore, Irene revealed that her mother is a nurse and works in the field. “He was a hard-working and studious boy, he even thought about taking a medical course.”
Police suspect that 17-year-old altar boy was killed by mistake in PR
The Civil Police of Paraná are investigating the death of altar boy Gabriel Fernando dos Santos Lima, aged 17, in the district of Irerê, in Londrina. This Thursday (26), delegate João Reis, who is investigating the case, pointed out that one of the lines of investigation is that the teenager was, and that the real target was the neighbor who lived at the back of the family house.
“We checked to see if he had an issue with a girlfriend, if he had any passionate issues, but that possibility is very remote,” explained the delegate.
According to investigations, the neighbor who lived in the house behind Gabriel’s room had police records and was involved in drug trafficking. Between the altar boy’s room, where the crime was recorded, and the neighbor’s house, there is no wall separating the two residences.
