Rio de Janeiro – Tens of thousands protested in several Brazilian cities against a planned amnesty law that the former President Jair Bolsonaro could benefit from. A few days ago, the 70-year-old was sentenced to more than 27 years in prison for an attempt to coup after his election defeat in 2022.
