O Disney+ revealed this Thursday (26) the first teaser for the second season of “Doctor Who“, now starring Ncuti Gatwaknown for his role in “Sex Education”. The new episodes arrive on the platform in 2025.
Production is led by Russell T Davieswhich returns to the “Doctor Who” universe. In addition to , the new episodes feature Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday, who joins the Doctor on endless adventures through time and space aboard the TARDIS.
The series follows the journeys of the Doctor, a being from Gallifrey, who explores the universe with his ship, the TARDIS, capable of traveling through time and space. Whenever the Doctor dies, he regenerates, taking on a new identity, which marks the beginning of a new phase in the series with a new actor in the role.
Recently, it was announced that “Doctor Who” will also get a spin-off: “The War Between The Land And The Sea”. Created by “Doctor Who” showrunner and executive producer Russell T. Davies, it brings back the Sea Devils, villains from the series’ universe who first appeared in 1972.
