The Acre River continues to rise in the capital of Acre, leaving residents and local authorities on alert. In the measurement taken at 6am this Saturday (28), the river level reached 11.15 meters. The river is still below the alert and overflow quotas, which are 13.50 meters and 14 meters.

The Municipal Civil Defense reported that it is continuously monitoring the situation, with teams mobilized to assess conditions and act quickly in case of worsening.
This Friday (29), the organization met with the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance and Human Rights to align strategies in the face of a possible disaster.
The Exhibition Park has also been requested and has undergone inspection to accommodate families if necessary.
