Footballer in Iran faces punishment for hugging a female fan

Tehran – A well-known professional footballer in Iran has been summoned to appear before the ethics committee of the football association because of the forbidden hug of a female fan. Ramin Resaeian of Tehran giants Esteghlal was summoned by the Iranian Football Association after he hugged a female fan before his club’s game against Chadormalu on Thursday, Iran’s Tasnim news agency reported on Friday. The association initially did not comment on this.
