Leaving Flamengo, defender David Luiz commented on the end of his time at Flamengo before the All-Star Game, held this Saturday (28), at Maracanã. The player regretted the stance of the red and black board for the way he conducted the process and revealed that he found out about his departure through social media.
“There were things agreed with the old management, things verbalized that we were going to fulfill after a conversation at the end of the year, which was a renewal already on the table. But we would talk about countless factors, because we have to see what is good for us, which is good for the club, but in a very direct, professional and human way”, he said.
“And then there’s this transition of management. People who stayed at the club, who have my direct contact, who talk to me, who helped me, who I helped, who had a relationship with me… and you find out on Instagram. If I don’t If I had Instagram, a social network, maybe I wouldn’t have known until today”, concluded the defender.
