A small Kenyan village has unexpectedly become the focus of global attention: On December 30, 2024, a metal ring fell from the sky and landed in Mukuku, a community in Makueni District in the south of the country. The piece of space debris, which weighs around 500 kilograms and is 2.5 meters in diameter, is believed to be part of a space rocket.
