Liane Lazaar is a web editor attached to the TV division of Purepeople.com. She knows as much about the journey of Jean-Pierre Pernaut on TF1 as the latest twists and turns of reality TV candidates and has a pronounced taste for stories of the heart.

The show “Le Meilleur Pâtissier” succeeded in changing Mohamed’s life. The candidate of the competition in 2021 has since been able to open his own restaurant and it is located on a very special street.

This year, the candidates of Best Pastry Chef (M6) had the relief of seeing the last chance competition return. Every week, after the new episode, the amateur pastry chefs in the hot seat find two chefs, chosen to challenge them and perhaps allow them in the long term to re-enter the competition, namely and Mohamed. The latter was revealed in this same show in 2021, and for him, it is a very exciting adventure.

It was a new exercise for me, although I had the advantage of knowing what the competitors were going through. It’s special. You have to be lenient and still eliminate someone. But I loved it, I discovered flavors, pastry chefs and I felt in my element. And then, I was well supported by Noëmie, who has more seniority than me. She made me feel very comfortable“, he confided last November for TV Star.

Outside of filming, Mohamed quietly pursues his career as a restaurateur. At the start of 2024, he fulfilled his dream of opening the doors of his first establishment : Food’Art. He advocates “homemade world cuisine” while mixing an atmosphere inspired by street art. Customers have several choices to enjoy with its 100% Halal menu which is inspired by American cuisine but also Thai, Italian and of course French with a forest escalope and entrecôte with fleur de sel in particular. In short, there is something for everyone! Mohamed has not abandoned pastry and also offers a range of gourmet cookies as well as tartlets.

“A special menu” promised to Teddy Riner

To sit down at Food’Artyou have to go in Asnières-sur-Seine in an easily memorable street, at 2 rue , who is none other than the famous multi-awarded French judoka and eleven-time world champion. The icing on the cake now would be for the athlete who still has to take a little tour themselves. “I would love to! With his size, I’m sure he eats very well. We’ll make a special menu for him!“, Mohamed promised for our colleagues in TV Star.
