Kauan Galdino, 18 years old, is hospitalized at Posse Hospital in Nova Iguaçu; he dreams of being a professional football player
An 18-year-old young man identified as Kauan Galdino Florêncio Pereira was shot in the head during a funk dance in the early hours of Wednesday (January 1, 2025) in Queimados, Rio de Janeiro. According to the police, the suspected shooter is a drug dealer identified as Ironhead who was unhappy when the young man stepped on his foot. The information is from g1.
Witnesses reported that the shooter demanded that Kauan apologize, but the young man was nervous about the situation and did not apologize. That’s why the drug dealer fired the shot. Testa de Ferro would be the head of drug trafficking in the São Simão community, in Queimados.
Kauan is an amateur football goalkeeper and according to his family, he dreamed of being a professional player. The young man was taken to the UPA (Emergency Care Unit) in Queimados, but due to the severity of his injuries he needed to be transferred to Hospital da Posse, in Nova Iguaçu.
The city council informed that his health condition is very serious and that he is admitted to the ICU (Intensive Care Center). The player will undergo new exams this Friday (January 3).
The case is being investigated by the 55th Police Station, in Queimados.
