After playing in Série B of the Brasileirão for Ituano, midfielder Miqueias will not return to Bahia in 2025. The Esquadrão agreed to loan the player to América-MG, and will also compete for the second division.
At 22 years old, Miqueias was trained in the tricolor base and launched into the main team in 2022. He was part of the squad that gained access to Série A of the Brasileirão.
In 2023, Miqueias was loaned to Criciúma. Last year, he defended Ituano. For the São Paulo club, the player played 44 games, scored two goals and provided three assists.
Miqueias has a contract with Bahia until the end of 2026 and will remain at the Minas Gerais club until the end of 2025. The Esquadrão has not yet officially announced the arrival of reinforcements for the season, but has agreements in place with midfielder Erick, from Athletico-PR, midfielders Rodrigo Nestor and Michel Araújo, both from São Paulo, and striker Erick Pulga, from Ceará.
