Video: Motorcyclist rears up motorcycle, loses control and kills man in SP

A 55-year-old man died last Saturday (4) after being run over on Avenida Doutor Frederico Martins da Costa Carvalho, in the east zone of São Paulo. Image from a security camera shows that the motorcyclist lost control after rearing the motorcycle.

The 55-year-old man was accompanied by a 6-year-old boy, who was injured. Both were crossing the street when they were hit by the motorcycle.

The two victims were rescued by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu). The man was taken to Sapobemba Hospital, where he died. The child went to the São Mateus General Hospital, where he remains hospitalized.

The motorcyclist – a 25-year-old boy whose identity was not disclosed – was arrested in the act. The case was registered as an attempted and completed homicide.
