The deputy secretary of Security at Osasco City Hall, died this Monday (6) after being shot by an agent from the Metropolitan Civil Guard (GCM) inside the Municipal Palace.
The information was confirmed by the colonel of the Special Tactical Actions Group (GATE), Valmor Racorti, who also stated that the suspect was detained at .
According to information obtained by Metrópoles, Adilson had ended a meeting with members of the GCM and invited those who wished to speak individually to remain in the room. One of the agents remained at the scene and, shortly afterwards, shots were heard. The suspect allegedly locked the door to the room, preventing other employees from entering who were trying to understand the situation.
Secretary’s trajectory
Adilson Custódio Moreira was born on January 12, 1971, in the city of Jequitinhonha, in Minas Gerais. He moved at the age of six to Cabreúva, in the interior of São Paulo, the same place where he began his professional life.
He arrived in Osasco in 1988 and, in 1992, joined the Metropolitan Civil Guard after passing a public exam. During his career at the corporation, he worked as a vehicle driver, motorcycle patrolman, and participated in the implementation of the GCM Kennel in 2001. He also coordinated the restructuring of the headquarters building and the creation of the Civil Guard academy.

In June 2018, he was appointed Secretary of Security and Urban Control of Osasco. After leaving office in 2019, he became deputy secretary, a position he held until the incident.
The case is being investigated by the authorities, and Osasco City Hall has not yet released additional information about the incident.
Osasco City Hall speaks out about shooting at Paço Municipal
In an official note sent to Metrópoles, Osasco City Hall reported that the situation was the result of a disagreement between GCM members. The municipal administration confirmed that the room is locked and that the corridors of the building were closed for the work of the Civil, Military and GCM police.
There are no records of other civilians involved in the episode. Employees who were at city hall were asked to leave the place.
