The third edition of the Big Fucking Party, which since last New Year’s Eve, has come to an end after seven uninterrupted days of techno music and with the same unknowns with which it began. Neither the competent administrations nor the State security forces and bodies know for sure who or who have been behind one of the largest raves that are held on the European continent and that this year has managed to attract more than 5,000 people.

The attendees, summoned through social networks, in an incessant trickle that reached its peak on New Year’s Day and the weekend, when more than 1,500 vehicles were counted on a plot of the industrial estate located between the capital Ciudadrrealeña and the city of Puertollano. An influx of vehicles and people that in its first hours brought traffic to a standstill on the A-41, the highway that connects both towns, and which forced the Civil Guard to establish a device to regulate circulation and avoid possible accidents.

This Tuesday morning the area was practically clear. The bulk of those attending this ravecoming from different parts of Europe, left on the evening of Three Kings’ Day, without, according to sources from the National Police in Ciudad Real, this exodus having caused any major problems. There are only a dozen motorhomes left in the area, which are also expected to leave over the next few hours. In total, 170 agents from the Civil Guard and the National Police, with reinforcements from Madrid and Toledo, have formed the surveillance device for this unauthorized macro-party. A device focused, above all, on preventing the arrival of more participants, something difficult – these sources acknowledged – because many of them used the paths to avoid the controls and thus reach the esplanade where it has been taking place. “The illegal macro party is practically dissolved although the security device is still active and will remain in the area until all the vehicles leave the place,” explained this Tuesday the deputy delegate of the Government in that province, David Broceño.

Already on Sunday, access controls by State security forces confirmed the first departures of participants, although in a practically negligible number. The rave It has functioned almost like any other festival that takes place in Spain, with several stages, food trucks and camping area. All of these elements that, these same sources point out, lead us to think about the existence of a “minimal” organization. As has already happened in the two previous editions of the event, the Government Subdelegation ruled out their eviction to avoid security problems and. “The important thing is to try to solve problems and not generate new conflicts. We have to guarantee that there is no type of revolt or serious conflict that is difficult to manage,” Broceño himself explained a few days ago. The managers of the Ciudad Real airport filed a complaint with the National Police for illegal occupation of land without there having been a court eviction order in all this time.

Airport complaint

The police investigation to clarify the organization of the event remains open and includes the identifications that have been carried out. on site and the profiles on social networks that have been promoting it. Some of these profiles collect images of the party recorded with a drone, something prohibited when being close to an airport facility. With this report, the Government Subdelegation will determine the crimes and infractions that may have been committed and the possible opening of a disciplinary file against its promoters. Despite the complaint from the airport and the specific traffic problems at the entrances, the Big Fucking Party 2025, which has taken place without serious incidents, as reported this Tuesday by the subdelegate. In total, 109 complaints have been filed for administrative infractions, the majority for possession of drugs or driving under the influence, although some reports have also been filed for possession of knives. 11 arrests have been made, some of them due to pending judicial requests.

The grounds where thousands of people have camped and danced for seven days to the rhythm of techno music, defying the cold, the fog and, in the last few hours, the rain, have dawned this Tuesday without anything suggesting the activity. that they have had these days and with the accumulated garbage and dirt removed by the attendees themselves. The Ciudad Real airport thus recovers its image of recent years: that of a private facility without flights that in recent months has been involved in controversy for being one of the places considered by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration for establish a temporary reception center for migrants to help alleviate migratory pressure in the Canary Islands. An option that, from the beginning, had the frontal rejection of the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and the City Council of Ciudad Real and that the Executive of Pedro Sánchez finally ruled out, as explained by the minister of the branch, Elma Sáiz, for not meeting the necessary conditions.
