Negotiations between Cruzeiro, Flamengo and Fabrício Bruno ended with a happy ending for Raposa. This Thursday (8), the boards concluded the negotiation so that Fabrício Bruno, 28 years old, will defend Raposa from 2025.

Cruzeiro will pay 7 million euros (around R$45 million at current prices) in cash for 100% of the athlete’s federative rights. Fabrício Bruno, who performed again today at Flamengo, will not travel with the group to the United States, next Friday (10).

In addition to this amount, there will be the payment of another 800 thousand euros as a bonus for productivity, which could take the negotiation to around R$51 million.

Cruzeiro and Flamengo had been negotiating the signing of Fabrício Bruno for more than 15 days. The red-and-black did not accept Raposa’s first proposal. The negotiations were led by Alexandre Mattos, CEO of Cruzeiro.

The negotiation information was disclosed by the journalist Venê Casagrande and confirmed by Itatiaia.

History on Cruzeiro

Fabrício Bruno was revealed in the youth teams. He played in 2016 for the first team, with eight games and one goal scored. He was loaned to Chapecoense between 2017 and 2018.

In 2019, the player made 26 appearances for Cruzeiro in the year in which the club was relegated to Series B of the Brazilian Championship. He ended up leaving the club in court, after claiming overdue labor rights.

The defender arouses the interest of Cruzeiro’s coach and admirer of Fabrício Bruno’s characteristics.
