Guarani agreed with its 13th reinforcement for the Campeonato Paulista dispute. Striker Luiz Miguel, formerly of Fortaleza and who was in Portuguese football, is already at Brinco de Ouro and is awaiting the results of the exams to be officially announced by the Campinas club.
Luiz Miguel is just 22 years old and started his career at Paulista, in Jundiaí. He left Brazil very young to play for Alverca, in Portugal. Before turning professional, he was loaned by Fortaleza, in 2021, for the under-20 team.
After Fortaleza, he played for North Texas, in the United States. He returned to Alverca and became a professional for the first time in 2023. There were 43 games, six goals and three assists.
Guarani has a total of 12 reinforcements confirmed for 2025. They are: goalkeepers Gabriel Mesquita and Emerson Júnior, defenders Allan Santos and Jhonatan Silva, midfielders Giva, Daniel Henrique, Mateus Sarará and Nathan Camargo, midfielders Caio Mello and Isaque and attackers João Victor and Matheus Régis.
Guarani’s debut in Paulistão will take place on the 15th, at 7:30 pm, against Botafogo-SP, at the Brinco de Ouro da Princesa stadium, in Campinas. The team from Campinas is in Group B, alongside Red Bull Bragantino, Portuguesa and Santos.
