Jeddah – ÖFB star David Alaba’s comeback for his club Real Madrid is still a long time coming and could now take place on Sunday in the Spanish Super Cup final in the Clasico against FC Barcelona. The 32-year-old Viennese was back in the squad for the first time in over a year in the semi-final game against Real Mallorca on Thursday. However, the defender watched the Madrilenians’ 3-0 win in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from the substitutes’ bench.
