Acre aerodromes record more than 5,000 flights in the first half of 2025, points out

Regional aviation in Acre reached 5,030 flights in the first six months of 2025, according to a report released on Monday (7) by the Department of Roads, Waterway Infrastructure and Airport (Deracre).

In June, 1,004 operations were recorded in eight aerodromes managed by the state government. Feijó led the movement in the month with 310 flights, followed by Tarauacá (232), Marshal Thaumaturgo (175) and Porto Walter (106). Jordão, Santa Rosa do Purus, Manoel Urbano and Xapuri complete the list.

Most operations, a total of 88%, were regular flights. Out -of -home treatment flights (TFD) were also recorded, essential for residents of isolated regions.

The president of Deracre, Sula Ximenes, stressed that aviation is still fundamental to ensure the population’s access to basic services.

“With the commitment of Governor Gladson Camelí, we continue to advance to make airports more efficient and safe. Air transport is still a key link between the acreans and the services they need,” he said.

In 2023, the state recorded 7,123 flights. In 2024, this number jumped to 9,162, an increase of 28.6%. With current data, Acre is moving to another year of growth in regional aviation.
