The spectacular premiere of the marquee series The Promise will transport you to the 80s. On Thursday, January 9, at Cinemax Bory TV, Markíza presented the series The Promise at a ceremonial premiere, the event was attended by many Slovak actors and famous faces. Even Czechoslovak diva Dara Rolins, Dušan Cinkota, Anna Jakab Rakovská, Štefan Skrúcaný, Eva Pavlíková, Vladimír Kobielsky, Gabriela Dzuríková and many others appeared. The premiere was not missed by Tereza Kosecová from the marquee show Ruža pre nevesta or Dušan Kajaba, a participant in the show Marriage at First Sight or Love Island.
It was the pop diva Dara Rollins who sang the title song for the series The Promise. In the interview, she told us how the creative process itself took place. “It was very funny, I must say. Because the whole period of the 80s, I remember it so much that for me it actually seems to define that color and that unrestrainedness. And one has the need to smile when he also hears music from 80-tok and when he looks at the way that time was presented to the world and somehow it’s the same with that song text, of course, appropriately tangled, like the story itself,” explained Dara Rolins for Koktejl.sk.
The singer was proposed to by her boyfriend Pavel Nedvěd on New Year’s Eve, she admitted to us that the moment was very romantic.
“After the engagement, I feel like I’ve been changed. (laughs) No… it’s probably a natural way of developing a relationship, including what will follow, because this is such a promise and then comes the promise, when we’re already at that promise and you’re already today we promise so many things.It is a thing that I am experiencing for the first time in my life and it’s very romantic, also how it all happened and the moment that it only happened now, also the timing, almost three years after we’ve been together, when a person already knows that he wants to be with that person really stay and that we can work together and that we all like each other. So, yes, beauty,Dara revealed to us, beaming with happiness.
