Hasenhüttl wins coaching duel with Ilzer: Wolfsburg beats Hoffenheim 1-0

Hoffenheim – Ralph Hasenhüttl has won the duel between the two Austrian coaches in the German Bundesliga. VfL Wolfsburg, coached by the former Premier League coach, celebrated a 1-0 away win against Christian Ilzer’s TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday. There were also successes for Heidenheim (2-0 against Union Berlin), Freiburg (3-2 against Kiel), Mainz (2-0 against Bochum) and Frankfurt (1-0 at St. Pauli). Gladbach and FC Bayern will play the evening game (6.30 p.m.).
