Drug dealer Denilson Ávila Evangelista, 18 years old, was arrested on charges of drug trafficking on Saturday night (11), on Rua Turiba, in the Ayrton Senna neighborhood, Baixada da Sobral region, in Rio Branco.
According to information from military police officers from the 1st Battalion Tactical Force, the garrison was on routine patrol in the region when they saw a man acting suspiciously. Upon noticing the presence of the vehicle, the suspect began running along Turiba Street. During his escape, he got rid of a bag, throwing it on the side of the road.
The military quickly disembarked from the vehicle and began a pursuit on foot, monitoring the suspect’s movements. The police siege was successful, and Denilson ended up being detained. After a personal search, nothing illegal was found on him.
The police returned to the banks of Rua Turiba and located the bag discarded during the escape. Inside the object, there were 6 bundles of marijuana, 6 bags of cocaine, rocks of crack, R$15 in cash and objects related to drug trafficking.
In view of the facts, Denilson was arrested and sent, along with the drugs and money, to the Flagrantes Police Station (Defla) for the appropriate measures.
According to police information, the boy has previous convictions for attempted murder, drug trafficking and robbery.
