After registering two wins and a draw in the group stage, Grêmio reached the current stage of the Copinha by beating Marcílio Dias, 1-0.
Goiás, in the group stage, presented 100% performance and, in the second stage, beat Vitória da Conquista on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regular time.
