Drying washed clothes in the winter months is not a simple matter. We can therefore be inspired by other nations. How do the Dutch, for example, dry their clothes?
Damp air, mold spores appear in the corners of the room, in some cases even a hint of a musty smell in the room. All this and many other evils are among the risks of long winter drying of washed laundry. How can we speed up its drying to save ourselves such worries?
A youtube video from Organizing TV also talks about drying laundry in winter:

Dryer yes, but…
Of course, a clothes dryer is offered, but what are we talking about, it is not the cheapest appliance either to purchase or to operate afterwards. Therefore, this helper is not a part of every household. Sometimes it would also not be possible to place it in a smaller apartment at all. Therefore, let’s look for the possibilities of other help for effective drying. Maybe a bottle full of hot water will do you good too.
A simple principle
What is this trick? It’s simple: fill a plastic or even better glass bottle with water as hot as the container can handle. From now on it will be simple – the bottle must be placed as close as possible to the hanging laundry.
Thanks to its action, the air temperature in the given places will increase and the laundry will dry at least a little faster. It will be very convenient if we ensure at least minimal air flow in the drying areas. Then place the bottle in front of the dryer so that the already heated air flows around the laundry.
Take a towel to help
In order for the laundry to dry as quickly as possible in less-than-optimal conditions, we will help it by wringing it as perfectly as possible. If you feel that the laundry is still unnecessarily wet after taking it out of the washing machine, you can still wrap it in a towel and squeeze the remaining water out of it.
It will be easy, the excess liquid will be quickly absorbed right into the towel. The only disadvantage of this method is the fact that you “make” another wet piece to dry. Do not despair, the towel will not be so wet that it cannot dry quite quickly.
Try a radiator or a freezer
It goes without saying that, especially in the winter months, it will be good to set the spin intensity to the highest possible level, with the risk that the clothes will need to be ironed more thoroughly after drying. For an even faster process, dry smaller items such as socks or underwear directly on the radiator. Some even freeze the clothes (folded and wrapped in a plastic bag). It is also possible to try this method, but few of us have enough space in the freezer to dry laundry.
