Fruit jellies with sugar were a hit at the markets in… . They were then sold by weight. Today they are not so popular anymore, so you can’t always find these sweets in every store. That’s why you need to roll up your sleeves and start preparing them. The recipe is childishly simple. Even the most untalented cooks can handle it.

To make fruit jellies with sugar, we only need 3 popular ingredients. Chances are you already have them at home. But if not, then you can buy these products in any local store.

What ingredients do we need to make fruit jellies with sugar? Here’s a short list:

  • 500 ml of orange juice;
  • 100 g of sugar;
  • 75 g of gelatin.

Instead of squeezed orange juice, you can use a carton of your favorite flavor. However, we must remember that such products often contain sugar, so we should reduce the amount of sweetener added when preparing the dessert.

To make fruit jellies with sugar, first we need to squeeze the juice from the orange. Then strain it through a strainer to remove the pulp from the fruit.

In the next step pour the juice into a pot and add sugar to it. Heat everything over low heat until the sweetener dissolves. Remember to stir the liquid constantly.

After dissolving the sugar, add gelatin to the juice and mix everything again, and then set aside for several minutes for the liquid to thicken.

Pour such thickening jellies into moldspreviously lined with food foil. We can also use cupcake liners.

Place the prepared jellies in the refrigerator for at least a few hours, preferably overnight. After this time, we take them out of the molds, cut them into smaller pieces with a knife and finally roll them in sugar.
