The note highlights that the guarantors “will work in coordination with the United Nations, donor countries and partners around the world to support a rapid and sustained increase in humanitarian assistance to Gaza, according to the terms established in the agreement.”

Qatari Prime Minister Mohamed bin Abdulrahman explained on Wednesday that in this first phase, Hamas will release a total of 33 Israeli hostages in exchange for Israel’s release of Palestinian prisoners, whose number he did not specify. He also indicated that during the development of these actions, the parties will specify the details of the second and third phases of the ceasefire, and that “a monitoring mechanism will be installed in Cairo by a joint team from the three countries.” (guarantors) who will supervise the implementation of the agreement and everything that has been agreed upon.” (Efe)
