The key German DAX index reached a new record high

The key German DAX index set a new record high for the third day in a row and is approaching the 21,000 mark. Britain’s FTSE 100 also hit a new record, and the eurozone blue-chip index EuroStoxx 50 reached its highest level in 25 years.

The DAX improved by 1.20% on Friday and closed at 20,903.39 points, while it reached 20,924.50 points during trading. The main French CAC 40 index rose by 0.98% to 7,709.75 points and the Italian FTSE MIB by 1.25% to 36,267.63 points. The FTSE 100 closed with a gain of 1.35% at a new closing high of 8505.22 points.

The Eurozone blue-chip index EuroStoxx 50 rose 0.81% to 5,148.30 points, reaching as high as 5,158.63 points during trading, its highest level since 2000. The pan-European Stoxx 600 index rose 0.69 % to 523.62 points.
