  • For this purpose you can also use baking soda, which you pour into the kettle and let it work for a few minutes.

  • Citric acid is also an effective way to descale the kettle – pour 2 tablespoons into the appliance, cover with water and let it cook for about 20 minutes. Finally, rinse the kettle several times with clean water.

Baking soda is useful for cleaning hard-to-reach areas of the kettle.

  1. Make a paste of baking soda by adding a little water.
  2. Apply the paste to the toothbrush and clean hard-to-reach places.
