35-year-old congressman is in his 4th term in the Chamber; is one of the most sought after to succeed Arthur Lira in command of the House
The deputy (Republicanos-PB), 35 years old, was welcomed to dinner by the digital newspaper Poder360 on the night of this Tuesday (21.Jan.2025). The meeting was held at the restaurant, in the unit located on the banks of Lago Sul, in Brasília.
Hugo Motta is in his 4th term as federal deputy. He was elected for the first time in 2010, at the age of 21. He is currently leader of the Republicans in the Chamber and one of the most likely to succeed (PP-AL) at the head of the Lower House. He has the formal support of 18 parties, which total 495 congressmen out of 513 possible. The election is for February 1, 2025.
