Racial intolerance

Alesson Henrique was accused of racial intolerance by goalkeeper Vitão, from Porto Velho. The Locomotiva athlete claimed to have been called a “dirty black man” during the Copa Verde clash this Wednesday, 22nd, and that is why the Humaitá athlete was arrested after the end of the match at the Aluízio Ferreira stadium.

The Humaitá board published an official note on social media stating that it was against racism and all types of prejudice.

“Dr Samuel Costa defended Alesson truthfully. There was an argument over the game and at no point did our athlete commit racial insults,” said Humaitá’s football director, Kinho Brito.

The Humaitá squad returns to the capital of Acre this Thursday and returns to training this Friday. Tourão debuts in the State Championship on Monday, 27th, at 4 pm, against Adesg.
