Leipzig – RB Leipzig celebrated its first win in the seventh game of the Champions League league phase. After six defeats in a row in the premier class, the German Bundesliga team beat Sporting Lisbon 2-1 (1-0) on Wednesday. ÖFB legionnaire Nicolas Seiwald played through for Leipzig, teammate Christoph Baumgartner provided the assist to make it 2-1 for Yussuf Poulsen (78th) and was substituted in the 84th minute. Xaver Schlager was still missing injured.
