Immigration: Pedro Nuno Santos had a "less good time," says Eurico Brilhante Dias

Declarations of the PS secretary general are annoying a part of the party. Socialist Eurico Brilhante Dias assumes herself “bothered” with the “lexicon used” by the party leader.

The Secretary General of the Socialist Party (PS), Pedro Nuno Santos, has changed the socialist discourse about immigration and this is annoying some figures of the party.

Pedro Nuno Santos assumes that the PS did not do everything well and announces that he gives up the so -called manifestation of interest as an entry criterion in Portugal. One also warns that immigrants have to respect culture and way of life in Portugal.

“Less good moment”

Eurico Brilhante Dias considers it wrong that the manifestation of interest of the government of António Costa is the source of the increase in immigration in Portugal and is even “uncomfortable” with the “lexicon used” by the party leader.

The socialist also states that the statements of the PS secretary general to the weekly were a “less good time.”
