Yuval Raphael is Israel’s contestant for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. The singer is one of the survivors of the Hamas attack on a music festival in 2023.
Israel chose Yuval Raphael, 24 years oldas a representative for Eurovision 2025 in the television contest “HaKokhav HaBa” (Rising Star in the Portuguese translation).
The singer says she survived the Nova music festival, on October 7, 2023, hiding under a pile of dead bodies inside a bunker for several hours.
It is terrorist attack triggered the war that Israel is waging in , with thousands of Palestinians killed, including children. Last week, one was signed who has already been raped by Israel.
The song with which Yuval Raphael will compete for Eurovision has not yet been revealed.

“I will fight for you as I fought for my life”
Yuval Raphael has already thanked him in a post on Instagram for choosing her as “at the voice” of Israel and “representative in front of hundreds of millions of spectators from all over the world”.
“How I fought for my lifethis is how I will fight for you”, the singer also wrote.
“I come to show the whole world, through music, that we have reached the battle between hearts. What we are a nation of love and simple desire – to live in peace, dream big and achieve”, added the young woman.
A Eurovision 2025 will take place in Basel, Switzerland, from the 13th to the 17th of May.
In the last edition, the Israeli participation was controversialwith several artists appealing to the country’s competitor, Eden Golan.
Several delegations also complained about elements of the Israeli delegation.
Despite everything, Eden Golan managed to stay in the fifth place of the music competition, even though I heard it during its performance.
