Military police officer Diogo Marinho Rodrigues Jordão died, this Monday (27), after being shot during a mega operation in Complexo do Alemão, in the North zone of Rio de Janeiro, last week. The corporal of the Military Police Shock Battalion was admitted to Getúlio Vargas Hospital and was the seventh victim of the operation.
The mega-operation had already killed six other people during the joint action of the Civil Police and the PM, in the Alemão and Penha complexes.
“We express our most sincere feelings of solidarity and strength to family, friends and co-workers”, stated the Battalion through a post on its social networks.
According to the PM, the agent had been with the corporation for the last seven years and left a wife, as well as two children.
