Jerusalem (Reuters)-Palestinian militant group Hamas said on Friday (31) that he will free the father of the younger hostages seized in the attack on Israel on October 7, 2023 and two, including a United States citizen with double citizenship , in the next exchange of hostages for Palestinian prisoners.
Yarden Bibas, Keith Siegel and Ofer Kalderon will be delivered on Saturday, said Hamas Armed arm spokesman, Abu Obeida, in a post on his Telegram channel.
Yarden Bibas is the father of Baby Kfir, only nine months old when he was kidnapped, and Ariel, who was four years old at the time of the transfronist attack.
It is not known the fate of Kfir and Ariel, or his mother Shiri, who was taken at the same time. Hamas said at the end of 2023 that they had been killed by Israeli bombings in the early months of Gaza’s war.
Their capture video began to circulate shortly after they were taken. He showed a terrified shiri holding his young children in a blanket while they were taken to captivity surrounded by militant aggressors.
The father, Yarden, who was 34 at the time of the attack, was also kidnapped and an image stretch circulated by showing him bleeding due to a head injury caused by hammer blows.
