After the postponement of the state directory of Minas Gerais, the Workers Party (PT) Follows without forecast to complete the investigation of the internal election.

The acronym claimed “logistics impossibility” to add Dandara’s name in the banknotes already sent to mining cities. With this, the MG did not make votes for any of the levels (state, municipal and national), which compromises the national data necessary for the definition of the claim. The new date of the state election has not yet been set.

“I personally, I am of the opinion that the party has its autonomy, right? The decisions are all made by majority. In this case, it was by a very significant majority of the national directory, and I think it was a mistake this judicialization,” he defended in conversation with journalists at the National Workers’ headquarters on Sunday (6).
The decision on the consequences of the impasse will be up to the National Directory.
“For now, we have filed a defense in justice, considering that it is not the role of the judiciary to interfere with the internal life of any party. And, on the other hand, we will also discuss what to do after this question is definitely decided. And finally, we will set a new date for the meeting of Minas Gerais,” he said.
Given the impasse, the Directory called, in an urgent basis, an extraordinary meeting for July 8, at 5 pm, with the purpose of discussing the case and other judicialization processes involving affiliates that contest internal decisions of the legend.
Judicial decision
The decision of the court determined that the PT will take the necessary measures to ensure that it will compete in equal terms with the other candidates for the State Command of the Legend in Minas.
The parliamentary’s candidacy had been rejected by the party on the grounds that she had not paid her party contributions.
“The National Executive Committee decided to postpone the PEDI in the State of Minas Gerais to be defined by the National Directory,” says the PT statement. The decision, according to the party, seeks to comply with the court order without compromising the organization of the internal electoral process.
Also in the note, the national PT points out that it does not recognize the legitimacy of demonstrations made by the State Directorate of Minas Gerais on the court decision and its effects in the PED, reinforcing the authority of the national instance in conducting the process.
