The governor of Piaui, Rafael Fonteles (PT), will assume on Wednesday (5) the presidency of the Northeast Consortium, which brings together the nine governors of the region.
During his inauguration ceremony in Brasilia, he will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Finance, to strengthen the agenda of ecological transformation in the region. The goal is to consolidate the Northeast as a reference in sustainable investments.
The event will be attended by ministers Fernando Haddad (farm) and Wellington Dias (social development).
