WASHINGTON (Reuters)-US President Donald Trump said on Monday that he talked to Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as the two countries prepare to impose new import rates on each other.

Trump said he will talk to Trudeau again at 5 pm (Brasília time). He cited Canadian bank regulations and drug trafficking as a reasons for US tariffs in a publication on the Truth Social platform.
