The Loulé Market Chocolate Fair celebrates its 15th edition this year, promising an irresistible experience for chocolate lovers. Between February 7th and 16th, around the Espírito Santo Convent, next to the City Council and the Municipal Market, it becomes a true paradise for the senses, bringing together a wide selection of handcrafted chocolates, innovative creations that promise sweet experiences and activities for all ages.
Over the past 15 years, this event has become a milestone in the Algarve tradition, attracting thousands of visitors from all over the country and abroad, consolidating Loulé as the capital of chocolate.
This year’s edition has 20 exhibitors from various regions of the country, which will present unique and handcrafted creations, ensuring a diverse and quality offer. In addition, the program includes live shows that provide a festive and familiar environment, as well as interactive activities for all ages, especially a facial painting zone for children.
Free admission reinforces the municipality’s commitment to cultural accessibility and the promotion of local tourism. More than an event dedicated to Chocolate and Candy lovers, the Loulé Market Chocolate Fair is also a space for conviviality and fun, where children, youth and adults can enjoy unique moments.
The initiative maintains the objective of valuing local and national producers, promoting sustainable economy and handicraft of excellence.
The musical program will be one of the highlights of the event, with performances by artists and bands such as Martin Tescher, Marc Policarpo, Mário Spencer and Ricardo Martins, who will perform on weekends between 16:00 and 18:30.
Organized by the municipal company, the Loulé Market Chocolate Fair will be open every day, from 10:00 to 20:00, guaranteeing ten days full of sweetness and animation.
