Berlin-Former German Federal Chancellor Gerhard Schröder (SPD) went into clinical treatment due to a diagnosis of burnout. This was announced by Schröder’s lawyer of the German Press Agency on request. Most recently, Schröder’s disease-related cancellation in the Schwerin state investigation committee for the construction of the controversial Baltic Seepeline Nord Stream 2 had promoted speculation about his state of health.
