They will suspend the imposition of tariffs for a month, Claudia Seinbaum announced after a conversation with the US president.
“I am sure that in this month we can achieve results,” he said at a press conference.
Trump, for his part, posting on social networking sites, confirmed that they were going to be imposed on Tuesday. President Trump insisted on dealing with the trade deficit between the two countries, but Seinbaum said she “reacted” to this proposal.
