The president, the same day he returned from China, wrote on his network Truth Social: “Under my leadership, brave American forces and the Nigerian Armed Forces flawlessly executed a meticulously planned mission and very complex to eliminate from the battlefield the most active terrorist in the world, Abu-Bilal al-Minuki, second in command of ISIS (Islamic State)”.
“I thought I could hide in Africabut I did not know that we had sources that kept us informed about their activities. He will no longer terrorize the African people or help plan operations against Americans,” the US president added in his publication. He also assured that, with the death of al-Minukialso known as Abu-Bilel al-Minuto, the Islamic State’s “global operation” is “considerably weakened.” He thanked the Government of Nigeria for its collaboration in the anti-terrorism mission.
